by Meghan Rodgers
May 17, 2022

Spring has arrived in Pittsburgh and with it the anticipation of the region’s abundant farmers markets. Every year the list seems to grow and grow — no longer do you need to wait for a weekend for a fresh and local haul. We have nearly 50 farmers markets, covering every day of the week, offering baked goods, handmade items, prepared foods and of course, plenty of Pennsylvania-raised produce.
Pittsburgh Earth Day loves to see so many people shopping local and eating seasonally! So get out there, and show us your favorite farmers market finds on Facebook. Others would love to know too!
