The second annual La Fleur: Music x Art x Culture x Botanicals Soirée, produced by The Green Voice in partnership with Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and presented by Dollar Bank welcomed an incredible crowd for an unforgettable evening celebrating creativity, community, and nature.
Held on June 11 at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, La Fleur transformed the historic glasshouse into a living work of art, where music, fashion, culture, botany, culinary excellence, and craft cocktails came together in spectacular fashion.




FEATURED DESIGNERS

Brian David
Brian David is a Pittsburgh based brand focused on red carpet and vintage inspired evening wear. Brand owner, Brian David himself has created a reputation for perfection and luxury with his commitment to traditional couture techniques. With his 16 years of experience building costumes for on and off Broadway productions, ballet, opera, tv, and movies, David has acquired the skills of a master draper, pattern maker, and tailor.
Offering a wide range of services, his hands on approach gives his a clients a one of a kind experience. With appointments available 7 days a week Brian is ready to take your ideas and turn them into reality.

Patti Fowler, AIFD CFD PFCI AAF
Patti Fowler is a passionate floral educator and artist with 33 years of experience in the floral industry, holding a degree in Horticulture. As the dedicated owner of Flowerama in the North Hills for the past 21 years, Patti has uniquely shaped her skills by working across all sides of the industry—as a wholesaler, grower, and retailer.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, she stays at the forefront of modern trends, seamlessly blending creativity with innovative techniques to design stunning, large-scale installations. A central pillar of Patti’s work at Flowerama is her commitment to eco-conscious practices, making sustainability a key goal within her small business operations.
Patti is a proud member of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) and holds accreditations as a professional floral educator and evaluator. For the LaFleur event at Phipps Conservatory, she looks forward to sharing her expertise and inspiring others to explore their own creativity through mindful, beautiful floral design.

Patricia (Patty) Gallagher
Patty Gallagher is an exhibiting studio artist with an extensive resume of exhibitions, awards and publications. Her artwork is primary costume and installation, with an exploration of the female archetype. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with an MSW degree and attended Pittsburgh Filmmakers, studying digital art, photo editing and web design, and has produced three Tarot decks and other deck formatted artist’s books.

Michael Kouri
Michael Nolan Kouri is a fashion designer and owner of the Pittsburgh-based atelier design service Nolan Kouri LLC (contact via Instagram: @nolankouri). Since moving to Pittsburgh, he has shown at Pittsburgh fashion week and Ecolutions ’24, as well as constructed garments for his wedding entourage held at the Phipps Conservatory. He continues working with clients from New York, LA, Miami, and now Pittsburgh. Michael also teaches sewing classes at Cut and Sew Studio in Morningside.

Lana Neumeyer
Lana Neumeyer aspires to use her fashions to make a difference in people’s lives and wants her designs to send the message: “Be confident. Be happy. Make a statement!”
Inspirations for her designs come from the environment and daily life, and from mixing different materials and textures. Lana doesn’t follow trends, she makes her own. Originally from Goiania, Brazil, Lana’s passion for design started young as she grew up with her grandmother and mother making all of her clothes at home.
An architect by trade, Lana’s collection is full of vibrant colors with plenty of movement. Her designs are mix materials of different textures. Her clothes are consistently bright with a lot of colors, often floral. “I'll do a little transparency to add some sensuality, but for the most part I like long, flowing pieces. I want my designs to be fun and entertaining.”

Virginia Nicoll
Virginia Nicoll is a Pittsburgh native whose background is rooted in classical ballet theater, costume and fashion design. She is Owner/ Director of The Goddess Closet LLC, and works in professional theater and film in Wardrobe.
Virginia is a member of IATSE Local 787.

Suz Pisano
Suz Pisano has been a Fashion Industry Professional & Designer for over 30 years. Her career began with designing Bridal & Prom headpieces in her Mom’s bridal shops. She left her D&A counseling career to pursue her own design dreams that all started out with Scrunchies! After a long & successful arts festival run designing & manufacturing handbags, hats & scarves, Suz met Abby Lee & her Costume Design business was born. With many National awards & accolades, Suz returned her focus back to Bridal & Pageant Styling & Custom Design. She maintains a big beautiful design studio in North Hills which she affectionately calls “Sparkle Studio”.

Amanda Gorecki
Host / Emcee
Amanda brings her energy, authenticity, and deep love for Pittsburgh to the airwaves each morning as co-host of the Y’d Awake Morning Show from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Y108, connecting with listeners and starting their days with positivity and personality.
When she’s not on the radio, Amanda embraces everything Pittsburgh has to offer. You can find her participating in many of the city’s races, exploring its vibrant food scene, and giving back to causes close to her heart. She is a passionate advocate for organizations such as the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, the Alzheimer Association, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, and Tickets for Kids—continuing her lifelong commitment to making a meaningful impact in her community.

Daisy Jade
Host / Emcee
Pittsburgh native Daisy Jade brings the energy every weekday morning as a correspondent on KDKA-TV’s lifestyle and entertainment talk show, PITTSBURGH TODAY LIVE. Since joining CBS Pittsburgh in 2016, she’s also made her mark as Host and Producer of THE CW BUZZ with Pittsburgh's CW, and as Co-Host of the award-winning series FAN N'ATION, which celebrated die-hard Pittsburgh sports fans around the world.
A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Daisy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts and Film Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. One of her favorite roles? Starting as Sarah Brown in GUYS AND DOLLS. Since making her professional acting debut in 1999, she’s appeared in national and regional commercials, films, and TV shows - including a recent role as a newscaster in Amazon Prime's AMERICAN RUST with Jeff Daniels.

Channing Powell

Channing Powell is the on-camera host and creative strategist behind Made in PGH, leading community-driven content and creative strategy for the brand. Passionate about building community through authentic storytelling, she helps connect Pittsburgh audiences with the city’s evolving food, culture, events, and local business scene. Channing was also named one of Pittsburgh’s “50 Finest” for her leadership and impact within the community.
