Sustainable Business Breakfast
Friday, April 21, 2023 | Fairmont Hotel
Part of the Green Voice Speaker Series, the Sustainable Business Breakfast is an annual panel discussion and catered breakfast at the Fairmont Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh. Addressing topics like sustainable innovation, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and corporate responsibility, the Sustainable Business Breakfast challenges panelists and attendees to confront and discuss how to put their commitment to sustainable business practices into action.
Previous panelists have included, Nicholas Bonarrigo, Carmeuse Americas, Rebecca L. Lucore, Covestro, Tishekia Williams, Duquesne Light Company, Leslie Hyde, Koppers, and Ben Johnson, Wesco International, among several others. The panel discussion is regularly moderated by S & B USA Director of Environmental Social Governance and Innovation, Grant Ervin.

Energy Innovation Center's Powered Up Initiative

Part of The Tailgate Tour, the Energy Innovation Center's Powered Up event features educational booths, family friendly-activities, and local celebrities spreading the message of clean energy innovation and the importance of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Guests include the Pirate Parrot, The Pirate Pierogis, the Bucco Brigade, KiKi from WAMO 107.3, and Chef Claudy Pierre cooking up mouth-watering tailgate favorites like smoked brisket and barbeque chicken sliders.

The Music, Art, and Culture Festival is a free annual community celebration filled with fun, educational, and inspirational activities and events for all ages. Market Square becomes a hub for music and eco-friendly activity booths. There is live music and local businesses sharing their sustainability stories. Educational programming is available on alternative transportation, clean energy, and green wellness.

The Ecolution Fashion Gala offers dance performances by world-renowned choreographers like Kyle Abraham and breathtaking fashion made from recycled materials.
Curated by Richard Parsakian, styled by Izzazu Salon, Spa & Blowout Bar, and produced by The Green Voice Collective, the Ecolution Fashion Gala features handcrafted couture, music by DJ Soy Sos, drag queens, featured artists, and a special dance performance.
