Grant Ervin, Director of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) and Innovation for S&B USA - Sustainable Business Breakfast Panelist

Grant Ervin currently serves as the Director of Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) and Innovation for S&B USA, an infrastructure integration firm based in Pittsburgh, Pa that specializes in civil construction solutions in the energy, transportation, ports and waterways and vehicle electrification space. Grant serves as an integrator of activities by working across departments, agencies and sectors to form public policy and market-based solutions. He brings deep experience, intersecting the worlds of environmental, community and economic development and infrastructure policy to create innovative and sustainable solutions for local governments, private sector clients, community development organizations, and state agencies.

Prior to joining S&B USA, Mr. Ervin served as the Chief Resilience Officer and Assistant Director for the Department of City Planning for the City of Pittsburgh.

Anna J. Siefken has spent her career making the business case for energy efficiency, climatetech innovation, and building performance to address the world’s most pressing energy challenges and the global urgency of climate change. She currently serves as Senior Advisor to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions, after nearly a year as Commercialization Executive to the same office. She is based in Pittsburgh, PA, and was proud to serve on DOE’s leadership team that brought the Global Clean Energy Action Forum (GCEAF) and 6,000 energy experts to the Burgh in 2022. In 2020, Anna was appointed a Department of Energy Ambassador – Clean Energy Education and Empowerment (C3E) by the U.S. Secretary of Energy.

Mona E. Dajani focuses on project finance, corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, sustainable finance, portfolio acquisitions, and tax equity matters along with advising government and private clients in energy and infrastructure projects at Shearman & Sterling LLP. In her over 20 years of practice, Mona has led numerous financing and acquisition/disposition and project development transactions involving solar, wind, hydrogen, hydroelectric, geothermal, biomass, waste-to-energy and net-zero disruptive technologies such as connectivity, autonomous driving and e-mobility as well as gasification, transmission lines, and oil & gas pipelines. She has substantial experience managing syndicated loan and debt capital markets transactions, Islamic finance, equity and debt transactions, sustainable finance, ESG, syndicated commercial bank debt, commercial paper programs and arranging capital for new and established energy and infrastructure companies.

As Managing Director and Head of Sustainable Finance at PNC, Kristi Ziegler Eberhardt supports clients on their carbon transition and social justice journeys by showing how actions and behaviors can be embedded into capitalization through bespoke solutions including bonds, loans, securitizations, share repurchases, and commercial paper. She co-authored PNC’s Green and Sustainability Bond Frameworks and was the Sustainability Agent on PNC’s Green and Social Bonds. She has also been a 25+ year fixed income originator covering various sectors and products including taxable and tax-exempt debt.
